Saving and autosave
Projects are saved to your account, and a free account stores up to 10 MB of them.
Exporting
DXF, Cadlite JSON and PDF exports never use a token.
No trial clock
The free account does not expire after 14 or 30 days. Draft with it for as long as you like.
The two things that use tokens
Both are work our servers do for you, which is why they are metered and drafting is not.
The AI assistant
Tracing a plan from an image, analysing a drawing, preparing a take-off or making changes for you. A task costs more or less depending on how much it does and which model you pick.
DWG conversion
Opening or exporting a DWG, charged by the file's size. DXF export is always free.
A new account gets 150,000 tokens when it is activated, so you can try both before paying for anything.
Questions about the free plan
Do I need a card to sign up?
No. A free account needs an e-mail address to activate it, and no payment details at all.
What happens when my tokens run out?
The assistant and DWG conversion wait until you add tokens. Nothing else is locked: you can keep drafting, saving and exporting.
Is there a limit on how long I can use it?
No. The free account has no time limit.
